Join Waxie Moon in an epic journey (spanning decades) as she learns the value of friendship, family and fashion? “Waxie Moon in Fallen Jewel” is a gender-bending genre-blending pop-art comedy musical starring some of Seattle’s favorite performers including Waxie Moon, Sarah Rudinoff, Marya Sea Kaminski, Nick Garrison, John Osebold, Jackie Hell, Lou Henry Hoover, Jackie Hell, Polly Wood, Keira McDonald, Jerick Hoffer, and many others and featuring designs by Harmony Arnold and Jennifer Zeyl and original soundtrack by Eric Lane Barnes (of Seattle Mens Chorus), We Are Golden, Campfire OK, The Little Penguins, Gretta Harley and Jose Bold.
This month’s screening is hosted by Sarah Rudinoff. Ms. Rudinoff has sung and performed cabaret at venues all over Seattle, including; The Triple Door, Showbox, Sunset Tavern and Re-bar. Sarah has sung at Les Deux Café in LA, Joe’s Pub in NYC, and opened for Kiki and Herb in Seattle. Ms. Rudinoff is the winner of The Stranger’s 2004 Genius Award in Theatre and a co-creator of “These Streets”, an original rock musical about female musicians in the grunge era. She is also half of the band, “We Are Golden” with Gretta Harley.
